Our Leadership Team

Aqua Civitas was founded on a personal experience and academic engagement with water access and sanitation challenges, particularly in Uganda and global policy. This perspective drives a commitment to clarity, equity, and practical impact.

Our Founder & Director, Hildah Ayesigye, is an International Relations & Water Governance specialist with a passion for shaping policies & partnerships that advance sustainable development, climate resilience, & water security. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations & Water Management and Governance, and brings an interdisciplinary perspective to addressing complex global challenges. Her interests span water diplomacy, climate adaptation, & development policy & Africa-Europe partnerships.
